Setting Up Discounts

Add discount, presets (weekly, monthly), custom (min nights, %, priority).

You set up long-stay discounts in Settings so that guests who book a minimum number of nights get an automatic percentage off. This article explains how to add a discount and what options you have (presets vs custom).

How to Add a Discount

  1. Go to SettingsLong-Stay Discounts.
  2. Click Add Discount (or New discount).
  3. Choose Preset or Custom (if the UI offers both).
  4. Fill in the form and save.

Presets (Weekly, Monthly)

Many apps offer presets so you can add a discount quickly:

  • Weekly discount – e.g. 7+ nights, 10% off. Use it for one-week stays.
  • Monthly discount – e.g. 30+ nights, 15% off. Use it for one-month stays.

Select the preset and optionally change the percentage or minimum nights before saving. The preset gives you sensible defaults; you can adjust them.

Custom Discount

If you choose Custom (or "Create custom"), you set every field:

  • Name – A short name for the rule (e.g. "Bi-weekly special"). Used so you can recognize it in the list.
  • Minimum nights – The stay must have at least this many nights to get the discount (e.g. 14 for two weeks).
  • Discount percentage – The percentage off the accommodation total (e.g. 12%). The system applies it to the base price × nights; cleaning fee and tax are usually not discounted (check the app).
  • Priority – If more than one discount could apply (e.g. 7+ and 30+), the one with higher priority wins. Use a number (e.g. 1–100). Default is often 50. Set weekly = 50, monthly = 60 so monthly wins when both apply.
  • Valid from / Valid until – Optional. Restrict the discount to a date range (e.g. only in summer). Leave blank for year-round.

Click Save. The discount is active and applies to qualifying stays. See How Calculation Works and Where Discount Appears.

Managing Existing Discounts

From the Long-Stay Discounts list you can edit (change percentage, minimum nights, priority, or validity) or delete a discount. Edits apply to future quotes and reservations; existing reservations keep the discount that was applied when they were created.
