Where Discount Appears
Public booking page, quote, breakdown.
Long-stay discounts are visible to guests when they request a quote or complete a booking on your public pages. This article explains where the discount appears: public booking page, quote, and breakdown.
Public Booking Page
When you enable public booking pages (Settings → Public Pages), guests can:
- Open your host page or property page (the public URL you share).
- Select check-in and check-out dates.
- See availability and request a quote.
If the stay length qualifies for a long-stay discount (e.g. 7+ or 30+ nights), the quote on that page includes the discount. The guest sees the total and how much they save before submitting the request or completing the booking.
Quote and Breakdown
When the guest selects dates, the system:
- Calculates nights (check-out minus check-in).
- Checks which long-stay discount (if any) applies (minimum nights and priority).
- Calculates accommodation (base price × nights), then applies the discount percentage, then adds cleaning fee and tax if applicable.
- Shows a breakdown on the page, for example:
- Accommodation (e.g. 800 €)
- Long-stay discount (e.g. −80 €, 10%)
- Cleaning fee (e.g. 30 €)
- Tax (if any)
- Total (e.g. 795 €)
- You save: 80 € (or similar)
So the discount appears in the quote and in the breakdown on the public booking page (and in the confirmation email if the template includes it). See How Calculation Works for the exact calculation steps.
In the App (Reservations)
When you create a reservation in the Dashboard (or via the AI) for a stay that qualifies for a long-stay discount, the same calculation runs: the reservation total includes the discount, and the reservation detail view shows the breakdown (accommodation, discount, cleaning, total) and optionally "You save X". So both guests (on the public page) and you (in the app) see where the discount is applied.
