Deleting a Property
When it is allowed, confirmation, and permanence.
Deleting a property removes it from your account permanently. This article explains when you can delete and what to expect.
When You Can Delete
- You can delete a property only if it has no active or future reservations. The system checks this and will not allow deletion if there are pending or confirmed reservations for that property.
- Past reservations (already completed) may still be linked to the property in history; deletion of the property may be allowed depending on how the system handles history. Follow the UI: if the Delete action is available, the system allows it under the current rules.
How to Delete
- Go to Dashboard → Properties.
- Find the property in the list.
- Click the Delete action (trash icon) next to the property.
- Read the confirmation message. It will warn that the action is permanent.
- Confirm. The property is removed from your account.
After deletion, the property no longer appears in your list, calendar, or reservation forms. Any past reservation history may still refer to it by name or ID for your records.
Before You Delete
- Cancel or complete any active or future reservations if you need to free the property for deletion.
- If the property is connected to an external calendar (iCal), consider removing that calendar link in Settings first; the property itself will be gone after deletion.
- Deletion is permanent. You cannot undo it. If you might use the property again, consider hiding it or leaving it and blocking dates instead, if your plan supports that.
Using the AI Assistant
You can ask the AI to delete a property. For example: "Delete property [name]." The AI will only proceed if the system allows it (e.g. no active or future reservations). If not, you will see an error or explanation.
