Editing a Property

How to open edit, what you can change, and saving.

You can change any property you own (except sample data, which is read-only). This article explains how to open the edit screen and what you can update.

How to Open the Edit Screen

  1. Go to Dashboard and open Properties.
  2. Find the property in the list.
  3. Click the Edit action (pencil icon) next to the property.

The property edit form opens. You can change all the same fields you set when creating: name, type, address, capacity, bedrooms, bathrooms, base price, cleaning fee, and photos.

What You Can Change

  • Name – Update anytime. It updates everywhere the property name is shown.
  • Type – Apartment, House, Studio, etc.
  • Address – Street, city, postal code, country.
  • Capacity – Maximum guests. If you lower it, existing reservations with more guests are not auto-changed; check those manually.
  • Bedrooms and bathrooms – Numbers only.
  • Base price per night – New reservations use this value; existing reservations keep their saved total unless you edit them.
  • Cleaning fee – Same as above: affects new quotes and reservations.
  • Photos – Add, remove, or reorder. The first photo is the main image. See Property Photos for limits and formats.

Saving

  • Click Save or Save changes to apply. If validation fails (e.g. required field missing), the form will show what to fix.
  • Use Cancel or navigate away if you do not want to save; you may be prompted to confirm.

Using the AI Assistant

You can also ask the AI to edit a property. For example:

  • "Edit property [name] and change the price to 90 euros."
  • "Update the capacity of [property name] to 6 people."

The AI applies the change; you can open the property in the UI to verify or adjust further.
