What the AI Can Do

Create, edit, delete properties, reservations, teams; block dates; queries.

The AI Assistant understands natural language and can perform common tasks for you. This article summarizes what it can do so you know when to use it.

Properties

  • Create a property – e.g. "Create a 2-bedroom apartment in Porto for 4 people, 80 euros per night." The AI creates the property with the main fields filled in. You can then add photos and details in the property edit form.
  • Edit a property – e.g. "Edit property [name] and change the price to 90 euros." The AI updates the field you specify.
  • Delete a property – e.g. "Delete property [name]." The AI only proceeds if the system allows it (e.g. no active or future reservations). See Deleting a Property.
  • Block or unblock dates – e.g. "Block property [name] from June 10 to 15." or "Unblock July 20 to 25 for [property]." The calendar is updated.

Reservations

  • Create a reservation – e.g. "Create a reservation for John Smith, john@example.com, check-in May 10, check-out May 15, at [property name]." The AI creates the reservation and blocks the dates.
  • Edit a reservation – e.g. "Change the check-out date of [guest]'s reservation to June 20." The AI updates the reservation.
  • Cancel a reservation – e.g. "Cancel the reservation for John Smith." The reservation is cancelled and the dates are freed.

Cleaning Teams

  • Create a cleaning team – e.g. "Create a cleaning team named [name], email [email], for property [property]." The AI creates the team and links it to the property.
  • Edit or assign – Depending on the app, you may be able to assign a cleaning team to a reservation or edit team details via the AI. Check the UI and help for supported commands.

Queries

  • Ask about availability – e.g. "Is the Porto apartment free next weekend?" or "Show me next check-in." The AI can look up the calendar and reservations and answer in plain language.
  • Ask about reservations – e.g. "Who is checking in tomorrow?" The AI can list or summarize reservations.

Exact capabilities depend on your plan and the current product. Use the assistant for quick creation and updates; use the manual forms when you need full control (e.g. photos, detailed pricing, or deposit settings). See AI vs Manual UI and Limitations.
